About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a diverse team of engineers delivering critical software for autonomous vehicle ML models and software.
Research and develop large-scale data warehousing and analysis.
Own large-scale data analysis workflows identifying unexpected impacts of changes to ML models and software.
Build high-quality datasets for ML product training and edge-case validation.
Provide statistical analysis of model performance and generalization through rigorous error and change analysis.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Collaborate with perception and ML teams to develop metrics and analyze results.
Develop the full stack, including AWS Kubernetes orchestration, ReSimulation, model metrics, regression reports, and deep-dive analysis UIs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven record leading a small, diverse team supporting a large user base.
Experience in machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis.
Proven experience developing and deploying large-scale cloud frameworks.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing technologies.
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is a bonus.
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a bonus.
Experience with machine learning in autonomous driving is a bonus.
Publications or contributions to the AI/ML community are a bonus.
