Drive Strategic Initiatives: Own and execute large-scale, complex technical programs critical to Motional's roadmap, focusing on model development and release cycles
Lead Cross-Stack Integration: Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for high-level behavioral capabilities, managing dependencies across Prediction and ML Planning teams
Dive Deep Technically: Facilitate trade-off discussions and drive teams to robust solutions
Identify and Resolve Blockers: Communicate technical risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies for high-priority issues
Influence Roadmaps: Ensure ML and behaviors roadmap is well-defined and aligned with company goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role
Experience leading complex, safety-critical AI software, robotics, or systems programs
Experience managing large model releases and model development lifecycles is highly preferred
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
A strong track record of taking large, complex programs from initial concept to a successful launch
Demonstrated ability to act as the primary point of contact for complex programs, communicating progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
