Pharmacy Onboarding Enrollment Coordinator
Mosaic Pharmacy ServicePharmacy Enrollment Coordinator responsible for patient onboarding and medication management at Mosaic Pharmacy Services. Conducting consultations and coordinating prescription transfers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the first point of contact for new patients via phone or video
- Conduct comprehensive medication history interviews and reconcile prescriptions
- Educate patients on Mosaic’s pharmacy services and benefits
- Synchronize medication regimens and schedule initial medication shipment
- Contact previous pharmacies to coordinate prescription transfers
- Collaborate with prescribers to obtain new prescriptions
- Address patient inquiries regarding insurance, costs, and coverage
- Support claims processing and resolve third-party billing issues
- Accurately enter prescription details into the pharmacy system to ensure precise and timely medication fulfillment
- Thoroughly and accurately document patient information in our pharmacy management system
- Serve as point-of-contact for new patients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed technician in good standing in the state of Virginia
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings with patient interaction (home health, hospital, primary/specialty care, pharmacy)
- Exceptional communication skills, including empathetic listening and clear verbal/written expression
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and general computer applications
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment
- Experience collecting medication histories strongly preferred
