About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical instruction and assistance to lower-level field service representatives regarding installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment at customer installations.
  • Perform installation, service and on-site repairs of Morris heat exchangers and associated refrigeration equipment.
  • Respond to requests for emergency or troublesome equipment repairs.
  • Simulate, test, and debug control systems on and off site.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment.
  • Repair equipment to Morris standard in field conditions.
  • Assemble accurate reports after job completion and on equipment operation.
  • Train customers and operators on Morris equipment.
  • Coordinate with project electricians, and conduct pre-installation kick-off meetings.
  • Troubleshooting via phone/on site, start-up/commissioning.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficient in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME and RSLinx)
  • Familiarity with Mitsubishi HMI and PLC hardware and software
  • Experience with multiphase electrical circuits
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and maintain bearing during stressful events
  • Interpret electrical schematics
  • Must be able to work without direct supervision
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
  • Experience with programming VFD’s (Variable Frequency Drives), Allen-Bradley & Mitsubishi
  • Must be willing to travel often and work in less than optimum environments.
