About the role

  • Ensure stable and secure operation of our IT infrastructure
  • Design, implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluate and integrate new solutions and technologies to build a future-proof IT infrastructure
  • Handle scalability, performance tuning and system upgrades
  • Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and vendors
  • Automate IT infrastructure and explore new technologies to improve efficiency
  • Support development and production sites located at Dresden

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in IT infrastructure
  • deep understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, technologies and solutions
  • experienced in administering and managing high-availability (HA) IT systems
  • background in either IT security, network, cloud or data center engineering
  • strong problem-solving capabilities and troubleshooting skills
  • strong work mentality, high level of self-organization and self-motivation
  • able to work independently and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • ability to express yourself well in written and spoken English and German
  • ability to work in Germany/EU (have the necessary permission)
