About the role
- Ensure stable and secure operation of our IT infrastructure
- Design, implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions
- Evaluate and integrate new solutions and technologies to build a future-proof IT infrastructure
- Handle scalability, performance tuning and system upgrades
- Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and vendors
- Automate IT infrastructure and explore new technologies to improve efficiency
- Support development and production sites located at Dresden
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in IT infrastructure
- deep understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, technologies and solutions
- experienced in administering and managing high-availability (HA) IT systems
- background in either IT security, network, cloud or data center engineering
- strong problem-solving capabilities and troubleshooting skills
- strong work mentality, high level of self-organization and self-motivation
- able to work independently and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- ability to express yourself well in written and spoken English and German
- ability to work in Germany/EU (have the necessary permission)
