About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain standard costs, including materials, labor, scrap, yields, and overhead rates
  • Perform variance analysis to monitor cost performance
  • Conduct in-depth inventory analysis and reporting (MoM/YoY trends, inventory turns, DIO, E&O)
  • Analyze product and customer-level margins, profitability of bids and quotes, and financial performance of projects and capital expenditures
  • Support monthly financial close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to turn data into actionable insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Product Engineering
  • 3–5+ years of cost accounting or technical product experience
  • Deep knowledge of BOMs, routers, manufacturing orders, variance analysis, and related terminology
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365, JDE 9.1, or similar), including system implementation
  • Advanced Excel modeling and strong Power BI dashboard skills
  • A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving, judgment, and communication skills
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement.
