About the role
- Take broad, conceptual ideas & work closely with Design and Engineering to make them a reality.
- Defining and communicating product plans from conception to launch.
- Analysing the results of a launch and creating the plan to iterate and build new features.
- Analysing user feedback and conducting user/market research to look for improvements or craft discoveries into new features.
- Create a final blueprint with screens to hand over to stakeholders for approval prior to development.
- Work with engineering to create final product development stories and get estimations for each task.
- Prioritizing features based on business impact and available resources.
- Contributing to technical conversations around deadlines and engineering solutions.
- Communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience and business concepts to technical solution providers.
- Technical expertise and the ability to question, understand and challenge the solutions application architecture and design as well as the development teams’ decisions and priorities.
- Passionate curiosity to learn and adapt to dynamic research, development, and industry knowledge.
- Thrive in an environment of fast feedback loops and a mindset of rapid prototyping and iteration.
- Collaborate with Ship.Cars internal stakeholders, including product managers, engineering, and data science, to ensure that our products support Ship.Cars business objectives.
Requirements
- Three to five (3-5) years experience in working in a product ownership or management capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of agile processes, principles, and tools.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with a vision.
- Attention to details.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work with a diverse range of team members.
- Thrives on disruptive businesses and industries.
- Inspirational for direct and indirect team members.
- Experience in transportation/logistics or related fields.
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce product line is a plus.
