About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain services and RESTful APIs using Python, TypeScript (Node.js) or Go.
Model, implement and optimize relational databases, ensuring high performance, data integrity and scalability.
Write efficient SQL queries, performing query optimizations, indexing and execution plan analysis.
Ensure code quality through development best practices such as Clean Code and SOLID principles.
Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration tests).
Collaborate with the team on architectural evolution and continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed higher education (technologist degree, bachelor’s degree and/or postgraduate — lato sensu or stricto sensu) in Information Technology.
Proven experience working as a Mid-level Backend Developer.
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, TypeScript (Node.js) or Go (Golang).
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server).
Experience creating and optimizing SQL queries (joins, subqueries, indexing and execution plan analysis).
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
