About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide consistent, individualized education that ensures students continue making academic progress
Support social-emotional and behavioral needs of students served
Complete documentation timely and accurately
Develop and implement IEP plans as needed utilizing testing and assessment data
Maintain student records in alignment with regulatory procedures
Assist with reintegration into home schools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors: Education (Required)
Valid North Carolina teaching license in Special Education: EC General Curriculum (K–12) or Cross-Categorical (K–12) - North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
1 year of experience working with children/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder
