About the role

  • Character Animation: Create fluid and believable animations for characters, creatures, and objects, ensuring they align with the game’s style and vision.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, and other team members to maintain consistent character proportions, style, and appeal across animations.
  • Optimization: Ensure animations are optimized for performance and quality for mobile industries.
  • Feedback Integration: Revise and improve animations based on feedback from the team and playtesting results.
  • Technical Skills: Troubleshoot and resolve animation issues, ensuring that all assets function correctly within the game engine.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for animation systems, and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an animator in the gaming industry with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in animation and rigging software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
  • Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine.
  • Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail, movement, and timing.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical and artistic issues independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
