About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the University's mission through development programs, initiatives, special projects, and fundraising activities
- Lead fundraising events and programs, including the annual Gala, Golf Outing, Conversations series, and other events
- Cultivate corporate donations, solicitations, and in-kind resources
- Develop and manage timelines and communications plans for fundraising activities and programs
- Promote events, highlight donors, and coordinate event committees and task forces
- Identify and develop corporate, community, and individual prospects
- Collaborate with staff, Board, and committees to build fundraisers and networking opportunities
- Build relationships with community stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of key corporate prospects and solicit funds for University priorities
- Track, report, and analyze corporate relations, fundraising events, and portfolio fundraising data
- Perform other duties assigned by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 5 to 8 years of work related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience with databases
- Master's degree preferred
