About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess, diagnose and treat individuals using individual, family, couples and/or group counseling.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans in alignment with patient needs.
  • Provide assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, discharge planning, and consultation.
  • Conduct therapy sessions and provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate groups focused on skill building, mental health, or recovery-oriented topics.
  • Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions as needed to support coordinated care.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree plus a Master Degree in counseling required.
  • Required Credentials, Certification, Licensure LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or In-Training licenses (LPC-IT, LMFT-IT, and APSW) required in Wisconsin.
  • Specific training/certifications may be required for certain types of therapy/assessment.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems Database software and Word Processing software.
