About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support design development for projects related to utility and process piping infrastructure, including equipment/materials specification, calculations, data sheets, design and drawing development
- Design projects involving piping and utility design using either Plant 3D, PDS, or similar three dimensional design tools
- Assist with mechanical design of waterfront facilities such as marinas, container terminals, marine oil terminals, and pump stations (sewer and storm water)
- Assist with condition assessment inspections for oil & gas and utility infrastructure
- Perform 3D modelling and analysis of mechanical systems
- Conduct 3D model reviews, clash checks and interdisciplinary reviews of developed drawing packages
- Participate in and conduct quality control reviews of deliverables

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 – 2 Years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Acknowledgement in developing equipment specification, calculation, data sheets, drawings reviews and other documents related to the mechanical design
- Design experience in industrial complex and / or marine terminals is a plus
- General understanding of process design, process flow diagram development, and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development
- Experience in piping design and other mechanical equipment; 3D design development experience a plus (Plant 3D, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.)
- Some planning and task management skills
- AutoCAD or computer aiding drafting experience
- Due to client parameters, selected candidate must show (post offer) proof of U.S. citizenship and clear results of a thorough background check that may include but is not limited to credit and criminal history
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
