About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the completion of electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates
- Provides design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for Medium/low voltage power distribution systems, Lighting systems, Lightning protection systems, Grounding systems, Communications systems, Electrical equipment design
- Assists with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects
- Assists with evaluation of project scopes
- Involved in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; required
- 2+ years of related experience or Master’s degree and entry-level experience in: Medium/low voltage power distribution systems, Grounding systems, Lighting systems, Communications systems, Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear), Selective coordination and arc flash studies
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit; required
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
- Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
