About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supports the completion of electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates
Provides design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for Medium/low voltage power distribution systems, Lighting systems, Lightning protection systems, Grounding systems, Communications systems, Electrical equipment design
Assists with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects
Assists with evaluation of project scopes
Involved in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; required
2+ years of related experience or Master’s degree and entry-level experience in: Medium/low voltage power distribution systems, Grounding systems, Lighting systems, Communications systems, Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear), Selective coordination and arc flash studies
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit; required
All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
