About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with NY office and Water Practice leaders to develop and execute the 'NYC Resilience and Stormwater Growth Plan'
- Leverage NYC climate leadership and previous government client experience to build strategic relationships and shape funding/governance strategies
- Support project delivery to exceed client expectations and protect reputations
- Contribute to M&N’s corporate Water Practice strategy by drawing on resiliency networks and assist with strategy, pursuits, proposals, execution, and client management in key coastal markets
- Partner with Water Practice leadership, commercial advisory, Ports, and Transportation teams, to pursue infrastructure funds, insurers, and global asset managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; required
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering; preferred
- 20+ years of experience in coastal engineering, climate and resiliency strategies, including planning and sustainability, and stormwater programs; required
- Professional Engineer licensure in New York or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hire; required
- Well established client base in the NYC metro area as well as statewide; required
