About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Learn and apply established principles and practices of civil engineering
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of duties and to work as a team
Design and preparation of documents for: Minor and major roadway, Sidewalks, Shoulder improvements, Drainage design projects
Duties include assisting a project manager with tasks associated with: Plan preparation, Cost estimates, Report writing, Client coordination, Permitting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering required
2-5 years of experience working with an engineering consulting firm; required
Experience in transportation roadway design; required
Experience working with State DOT projects is a Plus
Software experience: required
Working with Microstation
Autocad and other additional cad platforms
Civil 3D
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
