About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic document templates using OL Connect Designer.
  • Build complex, data-driven templates with conditional logic, dynamic layouts, and multi-channel outputs (print, email, and web).
  • Develop and manage document composition workflows using the Objectif Lune PlanetPress Connect Application Suite.
  • Integrate OL Connect with upstream and downstream enterprise systems such as LOS, CRM, ERP, and document management platforms.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations to support document generation.
  • Work with data mapping, data modeling, and document data preparation processes.
  • Implement API-based and file-based integrations using formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions for document composition.
  • Troubleshoot and debug template rendering issues, data mapping problems, and integration errors.
  • Ensure proper handling of the end-to-end document lifecycle, including dependencies across systems.
  • Collaborate with QA teams during testing cycles, resolving defects and improving system performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to business users, analysts, and other development teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Objectif Lune PlanetPress Connect (OL Connect)
  • Strong experience working with the OL Connect Application Suite
  • Proven experience authoring and designing templates using OL Connect Designer
  • Hands-on experience developing complex templates with dynamic logic and data-driven layouts
  • Experience integrating OL Connect with upstream and downstream systems
  • Microsoft SQL Server experience (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Ability to write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Experience working with data mapping, data modeling, and document composition workflows
  • Familiarity with APIs, web services, and file-based integrations
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Ability to understand end-to-end document lifecycle dependencies across systems.
