About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for executing the scope of work for the Process & Reliability Engineering discipline, with a focus on closely monitoring the performance of process plants.
- Monitor conditions to anticipate failures or performance degradation as early as possible, enabling timely corrective maintenance.
- Ensure and maximize asset reliability, availability, maintainability, safety and integrity, contributing to Operations procedures.
- Support corporate annual budget planning and contribute to the annual budget for the department's Process & Reliability Engineering discipline.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Process Simulator systems and Process Engineering.
- Monitor the development of Predictive Analyses and ensure their proper execution.
- Support the preparation of system analyses when potential production loss is predicted for topside and marine process systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
- Postgraduate degree in Process Engineering is a plus.
- Valid CREA registration (Brazilian engineering council) is required.
- Prior experience with offshore/onshore production processes in the Oil & Gas industry is expected.
- Experience with ASPEN / HYSYS / UNISIM simulation software.
- Knowledge of PI ProcessBook/PI Vision is a plus.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, data sheets and API codes.
- Advanced English.
