About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the implementation of programs and practices that meet regulatory, standards-based, and corporate requirements.
Provide specialized technical support at all levels of the organization, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory and standards requirements within your discipline.
Provide specialized technical involvement in issues, programs and processes related to compliance with standards and policies.
Provide assistance to improve the local Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the guidelines of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, the ISM Code, ANP - SGSO, and other regulations and standards applicable to MODEC Brazil processes.
Develop and implement effective processes under the responsibility of the Compliance function (audit processes, legal requirements assessment, among others).
Support investigations, the definition of action plans and the implementation of corrective actions for incidents and non-conformities so they are completed and verified effectively, in accordance with the Integrated Management System.
Plan, organize, facilitate and perform internal audits, and support onshore and offshore areas during external audits and inspections associated with relevant international and Brazilian standards and regulations (HSEQ), primarily ANP, MTE, the Brazilian Navy, Anvisa, ABS, IMO, ISO and MODEC clients.
Ensure that MODEC Brazil has an efficient and competent internal audit organization to ensure that compliance verification activities are carried out with the desired level of quality and technical competence.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Naval (Naval Architecture) or Electrical Engineering, or related scientific disciplines.
Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Process Safety Engineering.
Preferred: ISO Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001).
Advanced English (professional proficiency).
