About the role
- Responsible for Marine Integrity related to the hull external structure, UWILD and moorings of the FPSO, with a focus on predictive maintenance, inspection, process performance and condition monitoring, as well as the development and enhancement of preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure and maximize assets’ Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety and Integrity (RAMSI).
- Contribute to fleet performance and safety improvements through analysis of MOCs (temporary and permanent), TQs (technical queries), NOIs (notifications of incidents), performance of RCAs/RCFAs, etc., and provide technical recommendations to support the Operations team. Provide offshore support to implement recommendations/changes as required.
- Contribute to governance of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by updating and monitoring information related to hierarchy, job descriptions and maintenance plans.
- Ensure that hull and mooring inspection and maintenance plans are developed according to industry best practices, class rules, flag state rules and contractual conditions. Continuously develop and review plans for the fleet.
- Support the offshore operations team by providing consultancy on hull structural integrity and moorings; on-site support should be provided onboard as necessary.
- Monitor the progress of activities related to hull and mooring inspections.
- Track inspection findings and generate recommendations for the Maintenance System regarding corrosion and overall integrity.
- Improve and review procedures related to UWILD and mooring inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering / Naval Architecture. Registration with CREA (mandatory).
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Ocean Engineering or Marine Structures (desirable).
- Experience in floating structure analysis and hull integrity is desirable.
- Advanced English (mandatory).
