About the role

  • Support the development and execution of maintenance and inspection plans, SCE (Safety-Critical Elements) lists, and Operation Assurance Tasks (OATs), with a focus on operational needs.
  • Contribute to the operation's reliability and performance by managing process safety-critical elements and applying Process Safety & Reliability discipline guidelines.
  • Support the Process Safety & Reliability discipline with solutions, lessons learned and knowledge sharing through the proposal and control of indicators and new reports.
  • Help improve fleet performance and safety by analyzing MOCs, Technical Queries, NOIs, etc.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of barrier processes to keep plant operations within ALARP.
  • Participate in risk analysis workshops, safety studies and technical reviews, and manage implementation of safety study recommendations developed during the operational phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a postgraduate degree in Engineering is a plus; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • CREA registration is mandatory.
  • Minimum intermediate level of English is required; fluent English is a plus. Advanced Portuguese is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Basic knowledge of CMMS (preferably SAP) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of risk analysis software is a plus (preferably PHA Pro Tool).
  • Basic knowledge of visual risk assessment software is a plus (preferably Bowtie XP).
