About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the numbers in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team, you present merchandise attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the associated refrigerated display units and freezers
- You use careful staff planning and your talent for motivating, developing, and inspiring employees to drive team performance
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
- Very good knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- An outgoing, responsible team-player personality
