About the role
- You independently manage the fresh food and service counters in your assigned HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team you arrange and present merchandise attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and display freezers
- Through careful staff scheduling you motivate and develop employees
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master butcher qualification or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- An outgoing, responsible team-player personality
