About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with efficient sales and stock turnover
- You ensure product availability and that the key figures in your area of responsibility are met
- Together with your team, you merchandise products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of refrigerated display units and freezers
- Through your staff scheduling, you demonstrate that you are the right choice for this role
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist retail salesperson in the fresh-goods sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master butcher qualification or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Some initial leadership experience at service counters is welcome
- Excellent knowledge of sausages, meats, cheeses and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team player
