About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service (deli) counters in your HIT store
- You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with swift turnover
- Together with your team you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelving and chests in the self-service areas
- Through careful staff planning and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you ensure a high-performing team
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh goods department or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsperson certificate in butchery or additional training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably initial leadership experience in servicing counters
- Excellent knowledge of the wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
