About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store.
- You ensure product availability and accurate performance figures within your area of responsibility.
- Together with your team, you present products attractively.
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly.
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated display cases and chests in the self-service area.
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you demonstrate that you are the ideal choice for this role.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food department or as a butcher (m/f/d).
- Preferably a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier.
- Ideally some initial leadership experience in service counter operations.
- Excellent knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products.
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area and to the satisfaction of customers and the team.
