About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT market
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are correct
- Together with your team you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and display freezers
- Through careful staff scheduling you demonstrate your talent for motivating, developing and inspiring employees
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in the butcher’s trade or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably first leadership experience in service counters
- Excellent knowledge of the wide range of sausages, meats, cheeses and fish products
- A personable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area as well as to customer and team satisfaction
