About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in "your" HIT store
- You ensure demand-driven purchasing and rapid turnover of products
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated display units and chests in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling, you motivate your team members
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher (meat cutter)
- Ideally a master butcher (Meister) certificate or further qualification as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial supervisory experience in service counters
- Excellent knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area and to the satisfaction of customers and the team
