About the role
- You are independently responsible for managing the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team, you present merchandise attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and for the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and chests
- Through your staff planning, you motivate, develop and inspire employees
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist retail salesperson in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally, a master craftsman qualification in butchery (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- An outgoing, responsible team-player personality
