About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your assigned HIT store.
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are correct.
- Together with your team, you arrange and present products attractively.
- You advise and serve customers — setting an example for your team.
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area.
- You motivate, develop and inspire your employees.
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector (Fachverkäufer/-in) or as a butcher/meat cutter.
- Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in the butcher's trade (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier.
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in the area of service counters.
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products.
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality.
