About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store.
- You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with efficient product turnover.
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are correct.
- Together with your team, you arrange products attractively.
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly.
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and chests in the self-service area.
- You achieve this through careful staff planning and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees.
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher.
- Ideally, master craftsman certification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier.
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters.
- Very good knowledge of the wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products.
- An outgoing, responsible team-player personality who goes the extra mile for the commercial success of their area as well as for the satisfaction of customers and the team.
