About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You navigate confidently between demand-driven purchasing and efficient sell-through
- You ensure product availability and that the sales figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team, you present merchandise attractively
- You advise and serve customers — also acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling, you motivate your team
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh goods sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably initial leadership experience in service counters
- Very good knowledge of the wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
