About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with quick turnover
- You ensure product availability and that the numbers in your area are correct
- Together with your team, you arrange merchandise attractively
- You advise and serve customers — also acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and chests in self-service

Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food department or as a butcher
- Ideally, a master craftsman’s certificate in the butchery trade or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
- Excellent knowledge of the wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the economic success of their area as well as to the satisfaction of customers and the team
