About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for a 12-member design team.
Shaping the technical development of sophisticated product solutions.
Development of customer-specific product and system solutions.
Design of individual parts, assemblies and more complex technical solutions through to series production readiness.
Managing and prioritizing design projects in close coordination with Sales, R&D, Purchasing and Production.
Acting as technical sparring partner for internal stakeholders and customers on complex design issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of design experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least some leadership experience.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
Proficient with CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Knowledge of project management.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated, with the ability to lead a team with tact.
