About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, store, prepare, serve, and clean up samples and materials for daily sensory panel sessions
  • Purchase products and supplies for sensory testing, including sourcing items from local stores
  • Keep the sensory kitchen and testing areas organized, stocked, clean, and ready
  • Set up sensory projects in RedJade software
  • Follow testing instructions and research guidelines for different sensory evaluations
  • Set up, reset, and maintain sensory booths, workstations, materials, and shared lab spaces
  • Follow food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene guidelines
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding new panelists by preparing screening tests and session materials
  • Maintain and update kitchen and lab procedures and improve organization, workflow, and consistency
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, timesheets, and participant database updates
  • Collaborate with MMR and Danone sensory and UX teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work for long periods on your feet and in a lab setting
  • Degree or certification in Food Science or hands-on lab/food service experience preferred
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Experience with HR/payroll processes is a plus
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
