About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Receive, store, prepare, serve, and clean up samples and materials for daily sensory panel sessions
Purchase products and supplies for sensory testing, including sourcing items from local stores
Keep the sensory kitchen and testing areas organized, stocked, clean, and ready
Set up sensory projects in RedJade software
Follow testing instructions and research guidelines for different sensory evaluations
Set up, reset, and maintain sensory booths, workstations, materials, and shared lab spaces
Follow food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene guidelines
Assist with recruiting and onboarding new panelists by preparing screening tests and session materials
Maintain and update kitchen and lab procedures and improve organization, workflow, and consistency
Provide administrative support including scheduling, timesheets, and participant database updates
Collaborate with MMR and Danone sensory and UX teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Ability to work for long periods on your feet and in a lab setting
Degree or certification in Food Science or hands-on lab/food service experience preferred
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Eligibility to work in the United States
Experience with HR/payroll processes is a plus
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
