About the role

  • Collaborate with the Origin team on a project basis
  • Write clean, well-structured markup and can hand-code
  • Create best-in-class sites for the outdoor industry
  • Passionate about user-centred design
  • Experience with information architecture, usability testing, and cross-browser/platform issues

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of web development experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Drupal 8/9
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on responsive front-end development
  • Ideally, experienced working in an agency environment alongside a team and with designers
  • Available to work 9-5 pm, located within North America
  • Full understanding of Drupal 8/9 theming
  • Experience developing Drupal 8/9 modules including an understanding of controllers, services, routing, libraries, etc
  • Full stack developer – Proficient in HTML, PHP, Advanced CSS and Javascript
  • Experienced with Git, Composer and Drush
  • Experienced with Front End tooling like Node, Gulp, etc
  • Knowledge and implementation of accessibility standards
  • Strong QA and testing abilities
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with Docker, Lando or similar local environments
  • Previous experience with Pantheon hosting
  • Experience with continuous integration workflows and related tools
  • Experience working to WCAG AA Guidelines
  • Additional languages and platform expertise (Shopify, VUE. js, etc)
