About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
- Complete cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive assessments as appropriate.
- Prepare clear, compliant evaluation reports and documentation.
- Participate in virtual eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with district staff, special education teams, and families to support student needs and educational planning.
- Ensure evaluations and reports comply with IDEA, Colorado Department of Education requirements, and district timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in district-approved systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist Authorization required prior to start date or willingness to obtain Colorado licensure prior to beginning services.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in K–12 school settings.
- Strong report writing and case management skills.
- Ability to independently manage assessment timelines and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet and appropriate technology for virtual service delivery.
- Previous experience providing virtual or hybrid school psychology services.
- Familiarity with Colorado special education regulations and eligibility criteria.
- Experience using virtual assessment tools and tele-assessment best practices.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams in remote environments.
