About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
Complete cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive assessments as appropriate.
Prepare clear, compliant evaluation reports and documentation.
Participate in virtual eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Collaborate with district staff, special education teams, and families to support student needs and educational planning.
Ensure evaluations and reports comply with IDEA, Colorado Department of Education requirements, and district timelines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in district-approved systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist Authorization required prior to start date or willingness to obtain Colorado licensure prior to beginning services.
Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in K–12 school settings.
Strong report writing and case management skills.
Ability to independently manage assessment timelines and deadlines in a remote environment.
Reliable high-speed internet and appropriate technology for virtual service delivery.
Previous experience providing virtual or hybrid school psychology services.
Familiarity with Colorado special education regulations and eligibility criteria.
Experience using virtual assessment tools and tele-assessment best practices.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams in remote environments.
