About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape product direction: Identify and frame high-impact opportunities, contributing to the product vision and roadmap based on user needs, business goals, and continuous learning
- Turn problems into requirements: Work closely with users and stakeholders to understand problems worth solving and translate them into clear, well-defined requirements, scope, and success criteria
- Drive focused product development: Collaborate in a tight trio with a designer and an architect to shape solutions, define the right first slice, and iterate quickly
- Align cross-functional teams: Work with designers, engineers, customer success, and commercial teams to set priorities, ensure development is focused on real value, and that solutions land well with users in practice
- Validate and improve deliveries: Use feedback, usage data, and product analytics to ensure solutions solve real customer problems and continuously improve over time
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in trade finance operations, customer success, implementation, or a similar role at a major bank or export company
- Have a thorough understanding of trade finance workflows, terminology, and pain points from working with them hands-on
- Are experienced working with trade finance applications and digital platforms as part of your daily work
- Are skilled at breaking down complex problems into clear, structured solutions and communicating them to both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Are motivated to grow into product management and take on increasing ownership over time
