About the role

  • Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, assignments, and timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional updates, steering committees, and status reporting.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between project delivery and operations/support teams.
  • Partner with business units to identify process improvement opportunities enabled by technology.
  • Develop and execute communication, training, and adoption strategies to drive successful implementation of new tools and processes.
  • Facilitate change management activities, ensuring business stakeholders embrace new ways of working.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to continuously improve project and adoption practices.
  • Align IT initiatives with business strategy, ensuring projects maximize value delivery.
  • Leverage data analysis and feedback to measure adoption, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with IT leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
  • Promote a culture of agility and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and iteration as new technologies are deployed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, communications, or related discipline; or 10+ years of relevant IT/business experience.
  • Proven IT project management experience, including managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with business process improvement and/or technology adoption initiatives.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work effectively with engineers, developers, and business leaders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools/software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for enabling teams through technology.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 25%
