About the role
- Sell architectural products such as windows, doors, and movable walls
- Strategically generate sales leads and increase product sales
- Lead architectural design, guide product selection, and ensure project specifications align with offerings
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, general contractors, designers, and developers
- Serve as technical consultant and follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a database of customers and prospects and use it to seek new clientele
- Frequently travel, meet with clients, and attend trade shows (AIA, CSI)
- Potentially train new employees and teach continuing education classes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred
- A minimum of two years in a sales or sales support role
- Architectural or construction industries experience highly recommended
- Sales experience
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Frequent travel required (more than 50%, overnight and outside local area)
- Some international travel
