About the role
- Direct strategic planning and execution to drive revenue, margin growth, and operational excellence
- Implement store policies, processes, and performance standards
- Manage, support, commission-only in-home sales teams, ensuring accountability to sales goals and adherence to company process
- Establish realistic sales forecasts based on market trends, team performance, and promotional strategy
- Set and manage market-level budgets and headcount plans to support growth and efficiency
- Manage full P&L accountability, ensuring all targets are consistently achieved
- Evaluate compensation structures and ensure commission plans align with company profitability goals
- Oversee the delivery of operational strategies that enhance revenue and EBITA
- Ensure seamless integration of key initiatives and projects across regions
- Audit in-home sales processes for consistency and compliance across locations
- Set vision and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
- Identify talent needs, develop organizational capabilities, and mentor high-potential leaders
- Define and maintain a structure that supports scalability and business objectives
- Build a leadership pipeline within the team to support scale and succession planning
- Responsible for recruiting, developing, and holding accountable a commission-only sales force
- Implement policies and procedures that ensure regulatory compliance and operational consistency
- Monitor adherence and update frameworks as needed to align with strategic goals
- Set KPIs and hold team members accountable for achieving business objectives
- Analyze trends and take corrective action to optimize team performance and results
- Regularly review individual rep performance and implement coaching or corrective action plans where needed
- Ensure real-time sales data is being used to manage productivity and conversion rates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 5-10 years of sales and strategic leadership experience, ideally within a retail/ home improvement/ window industry
- 5 years of In-home sales experience
- Experience managing commission-only sales teams strongly preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Proficient using tech devices
- Hands on experience with ERPs, CRMs and other software programs (Microsoft D365 a plus) to track sales performance and productivity
- Proven track record in growing regions and delivering against aggressive sales targets
- Expert in strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional leadership
- Skilled in budget management, policy development, and organizational design
- Adept at driving high-performance cultures and leading through change
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of customer-centric sales strategies, especially in-home sales environments
- Strong ability to perform calculations involving percentages, discounts, interest, commissions, and basic geometric and algebraic functions
- Must meet physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have a valid driver's license and able to pass Criminal background, Drug test, and MVR check
