About the role
- Oversee and ensure completion of window and door installation projects
- Assist with ordering and proofing materials
- Recruit, train, and manage installation crews
- Schedule installs, measures, and assign crews to jobs
- Ensure all necessary small materials are in stock and ready for jobs
- Visit job sites and hold regular meetings with crews to review scope of work
- Manage warehouse organization and efficiency
- Oversee truck receiving and inventory
- Coordinate with manufacturing to manage job flow and resolve issues
- Ensure crews have materials and instructions for successful project completion
- Implement and maintain corporate branch SOPs
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Conduct weekly meetings for accounts receivable, measures, and scheduling
- Review labor bills for accuracy and fairness
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in construction or window and door installation
- Hands-on field experience installing windows and doors strongly preferred
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient with computers and job management systems
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- A team player who can adapt to changing priorities and solve problems quickly
