Coordinates activities of Field Service corporate team handling service orders, parts and customer service
Serves as product expert and contact for Group and Team Leaders
Assists employees with difficult or unusual services and decides disposition
Safely operates a variety of hand and power tools
Provides feedback to leaders regarding manufacturing problems and recommends solutions
Ensures work performed safely and professionally
Relays and shares information with employees and departments
Determines warranty vs installation issues and notifies distributors when necessary
Schedules and leads staff meetings
Ensures service vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
Fulfills job duties of staff supervised ~50% of work time
Administers Field Service software; produces reports, downloads data, analyzes via Excel
Updates and monitors work order status via CRM and dashboards
Final decision maker on inspection of incoming parts and warranty decisions
Creates long- and short-term plans; sets targets and deadlines
Delegates project tasks and makes effective decisions
Serves as point of contact for multi-unit projects
Communicates with service leadership and stakeholders
Performs quality control throughout project development
Adjusts schedules and targets as needs change
Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors
Ensures resource availability and allocation
Develops detailed project plans and manages scope, schedule, costs
Reports and escalates to management as needed
Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors
Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
Develops spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps
Estimates project costs and adheres to estimates
Water testing and analyzing
Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Some college or technical education preferred
Excellent knowledge of PGT products and warranties
Excellent knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools
Minimum of 4 - 6 years of field service experience in Window and Door service
Preferred 3 - 4 years of PGT specific service experience
1-2 years of management experience preferred
Commercial construction experience preferred
Familiar with iPad and other computer related devices
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Windows
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Strong understanding of basic business procedures, practices, and policies
Strong conflict resolution skills
Clean driving record per PGT’s safe driving policy
Strong English language skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to effectively write correspondences
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Able to read a tape measure
Must be able to assess complex situations and make appropriate decisions
Ability to establish priorities
Ability to diagnose causes of repair issues and develop corrective action plans
Notifies appropriate PGT personnel for guidance
Arial lift truck operation certificate
Valid Class D driver’s license
