About the role
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to inform, engage, and inspire team members
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications including company announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, and intranet content
- Support planning and execution of internal campaigns tied to organizational goals, culture initiatives, change management, and team engagement
- Partner with HR, Operations, and other departments to align communications with strategic priorities
- Maintain and update internal communications channels (intranet, email platforms, digital signage, chat apps)
- Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and recommend improvements based on engagement data and team member feedback
- Coordinate logistics and messaging for internal events including town halls, team briefings, and recognition programs
- Maintain a consistent voice and tone in internal content reflecting MITER Brands culture and quality pillars
- Monitor the communications calendar to ensure strategic messaging cadence and avoid conflicts
- Support Talent Acquisition with team member stories and company value proposition messaging
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in internal communications, team member engagement, or related discipline
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to tailor content for diverse team member audiences
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Proficiency and experience with internal platforms like UKG, WorkVivo, WorkDay, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
