About the role
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, and intranet content.
- Support the planning and execution of internal campaigns tied to organizational goals, culture initiatives, change management, and team engagement.
- Partner with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure communication is aligned with strategic priorities and enhances team member understanding.
- Maintain and update internal communications channels (e.g., intranet, email platforms, digital signage, chat apps).
- Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and recommend improvements based on engagement data and team member feedback.
- Assist in coordinating logistics and messaging for internal events, including town halls, team briefings, and recognition programs.
- Help maintain a consistent voice and tone in internal content that reflects the MITER Brands culture and quality pillars.
- Monitor the communications calendar to ensure strategic messaging cadence and avoid conflicts.
- Support Talent Acquisition with team member stories and company value proposition messaging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in internal communications, team member engagement, or related discipline.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to tailor content for diverse team member audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency and experience with internal platforms like UKG, WorkVivo, WorkDay, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
