Lead organizational efforts in Home Health and Hospice to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards; serve as subject matter expert on regulatory intent, deficiencies, and Plans of Correction (PoC).
Oversee policy development and review to align with licensing and accreditation requirements; maintain congruence between policies, procedures, and evolving regulations.
Manage improvement programs and survey preparedness, including mock surveys, system reviews, and corrective action plans to ensure sustained compliance.
Identify educational needs based on survey findings and develop evidence-based training programs; implement ongoing staff education on compliance, accreditation, and regulatory updates.
Analyze data from key sources to identify strengths, improvement areas, and performance goals; advise leadership on compliance risks and operational decisions requiring legal input.
Act as liaison between surveyors and internal departments (legal, compliance, operations); foster cross-functional collaboration to strengthen governance and reduce duplication.
Requirements
Minimum of a Master’s degree with a clinical focus.
Five (5) years of healthcare regulatory management experience.
Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience, preferred.
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of State, CHAP, and Federal regulations in Home Health and Hospice.
