About the role
- Manages daily marketing operations, sales calls and ongoing education with referral decision makers
- Facilitates education on guidelines and agency services provided
- Participates in community education events, including speaking to healthcare professionals and institutions
- Coordinates with physician offices for necessary documentation, such as physician signature on orders and required addendums
- Develops and implements marketing plans; assists in establishing territory volume projections and monitors resource allocation according to budget
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of markets including major payor groups, key referral sources and competitor positioning
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with referral and payor sources
- Monitors and reports on cost-effective marketing efforts
- Remains educated and up-to-date on industry and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare sales, preferably in home health
- Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
- Ability to assertively market and deal tactfully with patients, their families and the community
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license
