Lead Project Manager
MiracorpLead Project Manager providing senior level leadership for federal construction and rehabilitation programs. Act as the primary liaison between contractor teams and GSA overseeing project managers and multiple site initiatives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary liaison to COR, CO, and MIRACORP.
- Coordinate directly with client program and technical managers on major construction and facilities initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee contracted Project Managers across multiple sites.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects and program activities.
- Monitor performance to ensure alignment with goals, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Manage technical operations involving personnel, stakeholders, and complex project workflows.
- Support strategic planning, long range program execution, and resource allocation.
- Implement and oversee program wide quality assurance measures.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, and reporting obligations.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Track budgets, expenditures, cost performance, and resource utilization.
- Support life cycle cost analyses, financial planning, and cost benefit evaluations.
- Participate in workforce planning and oversee workload distribution among project managers.
- Prepare routine and special reports, presentations, and documentation for client leadership.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues affecting performance.
- Apply project and program management principles to improve operational effectiveness.
- Support logistics planning, scheduling, and forecasting activities.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet contract objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction, facilities management, or related technical fields
- Proven experience leading complex construction or facilities programs.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects
- Experience supporting federal, government, or large commercial programs, preferred
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with project management and estimating software.
