About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct industrial hygiene inspections and assessments (asbestos, lead, mold, radon, water quality, and indoor air quality)
  • Collect and analyze samples, interpret data, and recommend corrective actions
  • Support projects by developing Statements of Work, cost estimates, and reviewing invoices
  • Review abatement and remediation plans for regulatory compliance and completeness
  • Provide technical IH guidance for construction, mitigation, and monitoring activities
  • Respond to IH-related incidents, emergencies, and facility concerns
  • Perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
  • Deliver training and technical support to facility and project teams
  • Maintain certifications and ensure alignment with current IH standards and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in a science-related field
  • Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible industrial hygiene experience aligned with the duties of the position
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IH sampling methods, laboratory analysis protocols, and environmental health assessment procedures
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF editing tools
  • Current State of Colorado certifications: Asbestos Building Inspector, Asbestos Air Monitoring Specialist, and Lead Inspector
  • Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual 8-hour refresher
  • Enrollment in medical surveillance and medical clearance for respiratory protection per 29 CFR 1910.134
  • Ability to maintain required competencies, certifications, and licensure in accordance with evolving IH industry standards
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and written communication skills
