About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-quality operational support across correspondence, payroll, financial administration, records and data management, scheduling, corporate services, and SharePoint administration
- Coordinate financial processes and maintain accurate information and reporting
- Support fleet logistics and manage fleet vehicle requirements
- Provide administrative support to managers and staff
- Work across the Waikato region and support Education and Learning Support teams
- Collaborate with families, schools, and early learning services to help achieve positive learner outcomes
- Work with Ministry teams to provide support and resolve issues
- Support the day-to-day operation of education services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full, valid driver's licence is essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Financial literacy
- Keen eye for detail
- Passion for knowledge and openness to learning new things
- Ability to build exceptional working relationships with customers
- Ability to deliver services to required standards
- Ability to work proactively and professionally with others to provide support and resolve issues
- Ability to provide quality, efficient administrative support to managers and staff
- Adaptable team player able to work in varying conditions and virtual cross-functional teams
- Great time management and ability to prioritise work and meet timelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Comfort working in a tikanga/kaupapa Māori environment
- Developing knowledge of applying the Treaty of Waitangi to the work undertaken
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
